About the Dev/ID Squad

The Archery Canada Development and Identification Squad is a group of young aspiring Olympians. But this is more than just a team of athletes. It's about more than just a medal, or a good shot, it's also about friendship and the connection this team has made together.
This team is coached by Joan Mcdonald one of Canada's top recurve archers in the late 1960s to early 1980s. After retiring from shooting she took on the job of coaching the Canadian National team. Now she has passed that torch to Shawn Riggs and has taken on the job of the future Olympians of Canada with an age range gap from 13-20. That is this group of young talent.
This team is comprised of Ben Lee, Reece-Wilson-Poyton, Natalee Chan, Sarah-Grace Chai, Andrew Waslen, Julian Murphy, Brianna DeZeeuw, Devaang Gupta, Sara Teskey, Sebastian Gayowsky, Katie Rockburn, Audrey Khan, Victor Kalenda, Marie-Eve Gelinas, Daynius Roy, and Emily Breitkopf.
On this site you will be able to find official photos of the team members taken by me (Emily Breitkopf). Updates of events the team attends, and content of the team even off the shooting range.
Feel free to follow the team members on instagram, and follow Archery Canada on all social media for updates on the National Team.
